GolemAura, thanks for the comment. I found this contest strange as well but really liked the opportunity to use my imagination with good intentions, LOL. The only thing confusing for me was, that I thought that the "word" is supposed to be replaced with the slang, meaning that the suit is supposed to be replaced by flute and whistle (both can't be present).

Thanks to all for the comments Surely I have disappointed those who would like to turn the evil mask into something really evil- more devil's red and black plus angry mug, even blood and guts added. Soooorry, I don't feel the things like this. Let's give even the evil a chance to be more good looking and smiling and a hope to become better. I really like the figures and the fire, the only thing thats kinda ruining it is the stars. I would remove them or replace them with little brush stars

I love the perspective and lighting effects done on the mask (and necklace, for that matter). The only negative I see is that the well defined and detailed masks conflict with your less detailed art style. Glim's body, for instance, does not seem to be attached to his/her head. Rather, the mask almost seems to float in the air. Still, the artwork is nice and I really enjoyed this piece. Rock on.

the glow is AWESOME on the fire.. but you might want to make the fire a bit more real.. I know there was a BUNCH of awesome fire images under MISSY's profile.. might want to check them out.. even thought the fire is not the focus.. .. good luck in this.. very FABLE Based. wonderful

Looks like this guy ate a bit too much for a bit too long, nice work on the face but I think the belly needs a little work to make the seems fit

Like the concept but not the blurriness. I don't think I would realize he was made of bread if it weren't for your title. Also, he looks like he's floating above the background, not standing on the red swirls (need dark shadow where feet touch ground).

Thank you Dan... I was wondering about the shadow on his feet and I was afraid to go too dark..but I'll definately try that.. the blurring happens when you bloat.. I tried bloat and then sectioned some of the bread and tried to lay it over but it just became a mess (even a soft bloat blurs.. so I just gave up and let it happen.. but thanks for the suggestion dan) (the blurring was the main reason I decided to go with the glass effect)
