I spent forever making the wings, then got to busy throughout the week to do what I had hoped with them. But I liked the wings so much I had to do something. So I crammed this together last minute, hope everyone likes it :)
For some reason I can't get it to upload any more steps to the step by step, but I managed to upload the making of the wing, the rest is pretty self explanatory. (5 years and 3369 days ago)
It's a great entry but you really CBR'd the source, meaning (Chopped Beyond recognition. There's no sign of the original source in your image. I had to go to the SBS just to see where you used it. I think you should have put more of the original source back into it
AWESOME!
I agree with jawshoewhah, but it is still a beautiful piece of art.
Yeah I actually agree with you guys now that you mention it. I really did want to take the time to make armor for him out of the source, but didn't have the time
Is there a way to take down your own entries?
Oh this is great and I think you can do whatever you like as long as you have the SBS to show your work. I like this a lot, and sorry jaws, I just think you should be able to do whatever your heart desires with the starting image.
Look, CBRing isn't against the rules but a lot of people give lower scores for it. And I'm sorry I disagree with you Emik. IMO, if you didn't need the source to make the image you really didn't use it. It defeats the purpose of a source image contest.
Author. Do not take your entry away, you used part of the source image to make your entry. You had the idea, although some times it is better working with the whole image. I think you did a good job, and spent a lot of time pulling your brains out of your head, just to make this beautiful image. I have seen worst CBR entries. I wish you good luck!
Author, wings creation is fantastic, final product is very good, but usage of the source image is to minimal...this could be made with any image...When i saw your SBS i had that wow thing...wings are perfectly...U could made some flying creature with that and put it on top of containers or to construct something else with source image...In that case u could have another amazing entry...Any how this is very cool final product and i wish u best of luck
got my vote very nice Author
Hey everyone I really apreciate all the comments. Glad you like it dispite the lack of lots of source. I was wondering how much I am still aloud to edit? Is it ok if I spend time adding more source image in? Or is it to late to make any major changes? Like I keep saying i totally agree, I intended for pretty much th entire body to be source image but got to busy with work to spend more time on it.

She loved the days when the Rainbows came out. Flying through the moisture laden clouds and circling through all the colours. What a joy!
Edit: Redid the sizing and the motion trail. Lost some detail but brought it closer to the theme. Trying to get the blur from the figure flying in one direction and the wings moving in another was a pain!
All images except the model are my own.

Beautiful...
I can't make out what is flying. It looks like either just a bird wing, or a dead bird. Now that I studied your SBS, I can barely make out the woman, but the wings are too large and overdominate the woman, making the image very hard to "read" without seeing the SBS...
Perhaps you could give her face and hair a bit more contrast.
Even if i don`t understand what`s happen in this pics it looks beautifull.....
EDIT DONE ... changed so much that the SBS is not very applicable to this image. Sorry about that, I did not have time to change it. It still shows that I did the work and gives details of my first image.
Author I have to be honest that it took me 5 minutes too to actually see what was flying there (and I watched the SBS a couple of times and wondered how you used the sources). Somehow you have a kind of visual illusion here, either you see it or you don't
Nevertheless I really like this entry, visually it is good, has some mystery in it and makes you want to look again. The motion could be a bit better, looks like she's photographed with a stroboscoop now, if there would be anything you want to improve I'd say have a look at that again
Okay ... tried some changes. I think it is better but I believe Rob is right. When you look at something a long time you have a vision of what it looks like but it only you can see it. Sometimes it is not a good vision LOL!
Please let me know if you think it is better???
think it is more recognisable now what is flying there
Hey Rob! Thanks! Just one question, is the motion blur better? I worked on that too!
To be honest If I were you I'd keep the original entry for my personal portfolio (I liked it better) but also think you made the right choice to change it for this contest. Think you have to search for a photo which has got motion blur on it and see how that looks like on a photo, it will give more a blur trail.
Much better! You can clearly make out the woman, and the motion looks more "moving," to fit the statement.
Great improvement!
I could be a "stop-motion" image, or a "slow-motion". Very beautiful, and it makes our imagination fly away...
oh, very nice one...
Fantastic entry author...i did not saw the previous version/versions but this one is powerful...well done
Thanks Nator. I was unsure about the changes so it is really great to get positive feedback now that they are done.
i should have seen this earlier..., beautiful job

Nice work author, but in my opinion, you could have made this with any other door frame.
I don't find a lot of the original source in this work.
Maybe if you deliver an SBS?
It is beautiful and I'm prone to agree with what ramsesje above has pointed out. But there are other entries here with the same issue.
The image is beautiful.Love the little kids expression.SPECTACULAR.
