As you can see, appearances can be deceiving.
After having extracted the flower with the pen tool, I used the photocopy filter. I stroked the edges of the flower with the paintbrush. I then cleaned up with the eraser tool. Following that, I used the eraser for "start" & "finish." The arrows were created by me...actually, I created one arrow and copied, pasted and flipped it. (5 years and 3432 days ago)

The whole idea behind this project is the fact that, although this maze may look rather difficult at first glance, it truly is easy to get to the finish line, hence the title "Deceiving Appearances"

Well, it's really a puzzle! I agree with Raz0r about the start and the finish point; if you had put a vertical line between them, maybe the problem was solved... But it's a great and clever idea, GL!
