(the Carnivorous apple, though very fun, has become a bit of a hackneyed image in photoshop)
Putting it on the body of a model might help, or integrating it into a jungle atmosphere etc.. etc.. or eating a planet. Possibilities are endless. This will help you get a higher score.
You did a very fine job, but without a high res or a step by step the work is not appreciated and people will vote accordingly.

Android vs. Apple - created by wizardcopy
Which side are you on? When I looked at the lemon picture all I could see was the android logo. So I ran with it. Most of the content is manipulated stock except the slices and bandana. I couldn't find any sources of lemon/lime slices in a good quality and correct angle so I decided to just draw them myself. The slices were hand drawn then used the plastic wrap to help give them more definition and realism. (5 years and 2773 days ago)

The labels describe the origin of the fruit depicted, and were mostly flat color lithographs, not as photographic as this.
