An odd addition to the local aquarium. (5 years and 2852 days ago)

So, When i first saw this comp, i thought right on to the logos where the text forms a animal or a object. And i thought, which animal would fit for that? And a FISH was a perfect animal to do it with, so i did. (5 years and 3079 days ago)
Very cool!
Wow
this is cool man ... i mean this logo worth a lot
Simple and Clean
I like the simplicity. The lack of color is kind of blah, however, which doesn't really entice me to visit the park. I also think "AQUARIUM PARK" should be a bit more prominent and I might consider adjusting its kerning to make that text as wide as the fish above it.

it's right???................sorry!
Wow, I've never seen that before?! I never used any picture as inspiration, and i also did ALL by myself. I'm surprised that someone else did it too, but i promise, i never seen that one before.
I realize the link does look similar to the authors entry. In Art School we had a class in lettering design (hand lettering). Using words and letters to create shapes which we called cartouches and one assignment was to create shapes to match the words. Fish was one of the easiest to do and at least a third of the class did virtually the same design (the word Love in the shape of a heart was done six times).
I think the one you have done author looks better than the example presented above. looking good.
I agree there with Chapp. Although there are similarities, No comparison imo. This is a good presentation. Good luck Author.
good luck!
simple, and very well done!!

Awesome work (just a little trick I use, if you place a warp grid over the light purplish anemone and pull from the center up ward it will give them a bit more roundness.. though I do like the buzz saw effect (Stacking three or four on top of each other and merging and then pulling again, upward through the center will also make them round up a little.. (appropriate burns of course))
It's perfect just the way it is, hehehe.. just IMHO /... AND GOOD LUCK!!!
EDIT: YES!!!! they look plump and fat now author (I'm spoiled with the warp tool) you did a great job!!!!!
Those fish are adorable! Love the anemonies, but Drivenslush's comment makes sense if you wanted to try it. Great job on the blending of all the elements. Choice of background:
Without warp - great tweak on the anemones.
Thanks for comments. Pearlie thanks for your support.
Drivenslush: I do not have a warp grid in my Photoshop version. I am using an old, old Photoshop program....well, still works for me. One day, I will be able to afford one of those fancy versions of PS and do a better work. BTW, I just stacked copies, one over the other, and they look much better now. I appreciate your suggestion. Good luck in your work too.
very interesting and creative!
awesome work
Wow! So lively..It looks like done in 3D. The blurring effect works great. Very decent one. Good look author.

extremely effective!! good luck author
cool work and great idea...best of luck author
Good Composition. Nice masking. GL.
I think the large figure outside the window would cast a shadow on the floor as well...just a thought. If you could give the diver more contrast...that would help. Cool image.
EDIT: Did you add contrast to the diver? Looks ...as for shads...obviously your call. Wasn't sure how far the diver was from the building. I was just suggesting to add a large, soft one to help make it 'belong' in the image more. Nice job though!
Dear pixelkid, i think that the body is too far from the floor to have a shadow.... Thanks for your comments

I appreciate and thank mqtrf for the beautiful pics of fish, used in the making of this entry.
UPDATE: Made the bubbles transparent. (5 years and 3400 days ago)
Simple and clever. Looks pretty nice, I would maybe add a bit of contrast for the fishes and corals. If you want to make it more realistic, you should work with the bubbles a little. A bit more opaque and change the hue a bit. Very clever idea, wouldn't have thought myself.
Thank you Widiar, I was kind of tired and I just brushed out the bubles....I will work on them to make it more realistic. Will see what I can do with the contrast.
Nice use of source, agreed with above comment on the bubbles.
Nice job!
Bubbles should be less opaque, not more. A high res image would be nice, too...
Yeah, less opaque and more transparent, my bad, thanks for clearing that up, CMYK
Simple, clear and effective; just bubbles need to be fixed (too solid).
It's a beautiful, tranquil piece. Nice work!
I corrected the bubbles. Thanks for your comments.
CMYK: I tried to load a High Resolution image, but it is not working. I checked the box, with "Also Save a Full Resolution Image" and nothing happened. Tried 3 times.
GOOD LUCK !!
very cool
Cool work. Good Luck
