Just a pop art kind of thing. (5 years and 3239 days ago)
The edges of the weave are too "hard," making it look like like rectangles floating at different heights, rather than integrated.

in my opinion is a good effect
I agree with mossy, it doesn't look like weaving, the shadows on the vertical blocks is wrong for that. Check the tutorial again and see how they have done it. Unless you have purposely made it like floating blocks, which is still a nice effect.
Great effect ... I agree, it doesn't look like weaving but you have created a whole new look
I think to get a more woven look you would have to darken the strips where the go under the other strip (the strips would be darker as the go further away/under. Great tut to try! I would like to give it a whirl sometime!
i like the effect
Nice execution! But yeah, it probably could of been given some more attention to detail. GL!
Great work author...gl

This entry reminds me of the TV series "Breaking Bad" and the desert was a really nice touch. GL!
I'm with you Josh, I thought the same thing - one of my absolute fav shows btw!
Nicely executed chop too, has a familiar style to it...
Mine too! As well as Dexter and Weeds.
Very Good!
Thank you guys!
really like it
effect is superb

Excellent job with lighting and making those headlights weathered. Nice work!
All credit to you, I had wrongly attributed this piece to one of our more famous PS artists here, and I was genuinely surprised to see it wasn't theirs - the style is very similar. Trust me this is a compliment to your work!
Oh and Josh, I understand Dexter, my other favourite show, but Weeds, really that's a bit predictable for you isn't it?
Thank you guys for all the comments!
And Ray, thank you! I'm new here, I really found your previous comment a little strange, but did not think it was the similarity in style with another person. I do not know who he is, still do not know many people here!
Thank you for your attention!
And forgive my bad English!
Very very nice work author...Great blend and perfect mood...well done
Great work on a difficult source.
I genuinely love this image. Very intense lighting.. fantastic work. And welcome to the site! I look forward to seeing more and more of your work

This I made a while ago for friends. It turned out great and is hanging on their wall, a huge canvas. Colors as requested by them.
Thank you to Melissa Evans for the great tutorial!

Modeled from an United States one Dollar bill.

Used the websites IP address for the Serial number.
Added fake signatures for the website creator and the next listed user on the pxleyes team.
Used the no avatar image from the website.
Added some little sayings and text. View full to read them. (5 years and 3248 days ago)
this is a really great idea... maybe drop shadow the whole image to give it some lift... you could also use a gradient filter and layer it in to give it more dimension... heheheh
the use of members in the piece IS AWESOME!!!!!! .. I love the Idea.. just suggestion what I would do so it's all IMHO.. hehehe.. GOOD LUCK!!!
Nice one, had to laugh, love the "illegal tender"
Thanks for the honourable mention too

I think that Photoshop requires a little more imagination, a little more creativity, no point to set anything !
let this be a guide :
cut - layer it - transform - insert - create - adjust - and prepare for critics
And welcome to the photoshop contest site
GL
I like the "Warhol Pop Art" effect. Nicely done! Sometimes, simpler is better.
I think there is creativity in treating the eyes differently and in making the great color choices, not to mention the overall concept. However, having all the images facing the same way would be more Warholian and compelling IMO. (BTW is the title an allusion to Warhol's 'Mao'?)
Love it ... I have to agree with Mossy and Dan ... nice replication of AW's work. Love what you have done with the eyes as well.
very Andy Warhol.. and very well done (this would look great on a side of a building.. or a floating center piece in a restaurant less is often more....good luck
