It may just be me but this entry is way too dark, I can hardly make out the objects even in high res
Edit: I have just looked at this on my work computer rather than at home, It is still dark but not as much as I previously thought so I withdraw my harshness . Great work btw, very surreal.
Awesome work it's so surreal. The first thing I thought of was "Henny Penny" and the sky falling on her head, but of course this is a sparrow and water, wonderful imagination
I love this image, but i don't understand it! I really want to! Great job author
Really strange. But nice.
HMMMMMMMMMM!
i dont get it ,but nice
Let me try to explain this entry: the top part up untill the water is just a fantasy scene. A mountain in a lake with a house on it, the house connects to the balloon which investigate the globe (that's why the title). I wanted a flat world for the water, that's why I added the ship and teh water falling of the rim. The sparrow is there for 2 reasons: 1. to show the flat world is floating and 2. to make a contradiction in sizes, a normal sized bird makes you look differently to the rest of the image. To attrack the attention more to the sparrow I blurred the toppart (which also gives depth)
I just love these kind of surreal pictures, cause they make me think and make me try to find the meaning behind it. Just like yours. I especially like the composition and your drawings, they are really great. What I also like is the difference between a dream world and the reality. So the upper part is more a dream world and everything looks drawn and the lower part is more or less the reality with a real sparrow and real ice. So for me the interesting thing is not only the size, but also this switch between dreams and reality. I have no idea, if you wanted to express that, but that's just my interpretation of your lovely picture. Good luck!
