The background doesn't do justice to the very nice work on the character. A good back ground would give this a high(er) vote from me.

Something strange about the nose. It might be the sharp lines/edges which just dont go with the rest of the style you seem to be shooting for.

Ears are actually not too high. look at the actually avatar movie images and look where the bottom of the ears fall------at the eye.

The blue skin is great, but I think the stripes are too dark. Striping on the Na'vi seemed subtler, not so obviously tiger-like -- it's Avatar, not Cats .

ahh see I save every time I do something. I do skin I save, eyes I save, hair I save... or I save after a certain number of layers, it depends on the work.. but saving often is key, cause if you mess up or it doesn't look right you can just go back and fix it..

I also want to add I think it is nice work.. just the contest is supposed to be realistic is all but good luck still!!
