Nice entry. You might want to have another look at the cloning out of the hand, the hand outline is still visible but moved to the left.

Am I the only one who doesn't see the hand? I mean.. the theme is "A hand" right?
It doesn't matter what you use from the contest image... it's just how it goes
There is no distortion to the floor through the orb!?

Curious effect... there are some black lines on the floor, left of the orb. Maybe you could clone them out.
