Interesting. Edges of the horse aren't as crisp as those of the warriors so it doesn't seem to fit. I'm not a jockey, but it seems to me that the rider is sitting too far back on the horse. As for the concept overall, I confess that I don't get it.

Pretty ok suggestive work. I only would expect that with such light source in the middle that all the shadows around it would go from the middle to the outside, instead of all from left to right. Perhaps could have increased the drama effect. Good luck!

One thing I forget to include in the SBS is keeping each color you use on a separate layer, then you'll never mismatch them (I just learned that recently ^^, hope this helps). @Erika: I used to play Mario daily when I was a child, I love this game too
