Thanks Barnacle....you are entitled to your own opinion, but i have to disagree.......it looks realistic to me, but then again ive never seen a face removed like that so i guess i wouldnt know. The girls is from an old PST source pic. Its in the step guide.

Erathion........All my work was lost when PST crashed.....more than 300 entries and over a thousand hours in work down the drain.......i would love to see all the great works from the past re-submitted by everyone in the same boat as me.

Uh how can it look like a realistic cut ? The face has four parallel red fuzzy lines where the cut was made. I would expect to see one cut line and some swolen tissue along the incision line. That said, I rated it high even for an old entry

Very nice entry, i suggest maybe blurring the shadows that the feet are casting on the sofa a bit more and maybe reducing the opacity. Good luck

How have you used the source image?

i put the flower in the chalkboard and used it as a frame

It's a little bit on the "minimum source used" side but this source is kind of limited as it is.

BTW, what are all those little "Demos" in the high res?

The demos are because they used a demo version of a redfield filter plug in...

Why blur the mask edges?

The feathers seem to become part of the hair. Is that what your intention is? Or is it a mask? If so, I would use maybe the smudge tool to extend the feathers, or cut them out all together and just use the eye piece. I'm sorry. I don't think that I'm being very helpful but the feathers at the top don't look quite right. Nice idea, though. I will hold my vote.

I would have left the feathers but extend them, not mask them into the hair.

maybe warping it a bit so that some of her nose is visible on the bottom
