Tried for a sort of 3d effect with the bee standing out. (5 years and 2447 days ago)
Your idea may work better when you have a real extreme sharp image of a bee, so it's more obvious that you focus on that. Right now it looks a bit too cut out imo. Good luck!

oh and imo the bee is WAY too big. I mean it can be big, but that's too much

and it is a Galaga Bee, so it has to be big enough to enter outer space and fight a space ship so there ya go on the size

Shadows are wrong. With that light source the bee wouldn't have a shadow in this image, and the shadows of the figures in background should give a better idea of the shadow the girl would cast.

Well, to me this looks just fine, shadows and all. I like the tonal range that melds into each other....it doesn't look pasted on but real.
