I wanna rub his belly like a Buddha.. hehehe
Arrogantus Pretentious, or the more common name, the Snark, is a parasitical animal that attaches itself to people at birth. Using their sharp, little claws to hook into its host, its growth is dependant on cruel, thoughtless or careless comments uttered by said host. The Snark believes it is an expert on everything and considers common decency to be a sign of weakness. Very often, the Snark will defend itself by indignantly protesting that its comments are made in jest, are unvarnished truth or meant to be instructive. Although one can never completely rid oneself of the little pest, one can reduce its size significantly with kind words, tactful comments and a willingness to apologize.
I don't know if its the change in the weather, the start of school or my neighbor's constantly yapping little dog (ban pit bulls? They should ban any dog under 3 pounds in weight!), but my personal Snark MUST go on a diet before my family bans me to the garage. This has not been one of my finer weeks. Nice idea..like it!!...
Slushy, don't let its looks fool you! It looks harmless enough, but that just allows it to dig its claws in deeper. And then, before you know it, you're snarking at someone and then THEIR snark gets going and before you can say "Facial hair looks good on you. Too bad you're not a man." Wham! You're in the middle of a fight.
I've been trying to starve my snark all week, but I don't think I'm succeeding.
Wonderful idea -- like the details and use of source
Great work! I'd just suggest a bit more of a highlight in the eye.
looks like a rodent that just won't shut u..lol...very nice work.. to be picky I have trouble with eye attachment...not quite part of the head ... but that is me being picky ..great work and gl

Only dangerous when ripe. :)
IMAGE EDITED: Watch out, there's a ripe one now! (5 years and 3014 days ago)
LOL! They still look too green to pick...Great image!
agree with MossyB, make some red ones for picking... and "booom!"
but seriously, change the sky to real sky and make better 'shadow-n-light' of the grenades
Aheman, check the source photo...that IS the real sky. And if you check the source pics of the grenades you'll see there's plenty of light & shadow added. Enough for me, anyway.

Very cute!
I like the contrast of this, good find on the bears.
lchappell, the bears were total luck, I just had to do something with them THANKS!
this is amazing author!
dang i like this one too. Good job Author
I would make the bear on the left a little darker since the other two are cutting off the light nice idea.
Darkened bear, thanks Akassa!
LOL, this is marvelous!
great, just saw a shadow of the mountain on the middle bear shadow ...if this makes sense....gl
@Deki, yep, took some liberties THANKS!
Top notch idea and finds on the source... this is superior thinking and application... great job author!
Is the reflection line too crisp or I'm a blabbering nub... lol... cheers author! My eye was just drawn to the side, left of the bears, I'm not good at this maybe someone else... can help ;o) I'm just drawn to that line to the left of the bears... other than that... this is the bomb!
Great job!
@woodztockr, well I did blur and burn the reflection line a bit, (it was MUCH sharper before, but I kinda like that sharp edging (thanks Buddy)
cuteness aside... you need to:
1) make the bears more white
2) the slate of ice, it is best you clone from the surrounding ice
just some suggestions, cutey you... ahem... I mean the bears

Enjoyed this quite a bit; however it proved extremely challenging and almost beyond what I have taught myself in photoshop. I kept with it.
Please comment to let me know what you think!

I like your concept, however the main part of the jar appears to have no thickness. If you could move the images 'inside' up from the bottom and in from the sides to give the glass more dimension, it'll be more believable that these are in the jar. I'll wait to vote - GL!
edit: yes, that's lots better! now, if you can move the image inside to the right a tiny bit to make the glass thickness a little more even, and bring up the opacity on the sides like you have the bottom of the jar, that will be a huge improvement!
Apart from what pearlie said, I think it will help too if you remove the dropshadow. Right now the shadow makes it flat. Good luck!
Thanks pearlie I went back and brought the image in so that it gives the glass more dimension. I also added a few filters to give it a distorted look like real glass does.
wazowski that you so much I also removed the dropshadow and I think it looks better!
I love comments since I may think something is done only to find out I may have missed something small. Helps me get better. I appreciate it.
EDIT: Brought the inside image to the right a bit and raised the opasity just a tad. Thanks again pearlie
Different and modern approach.

The drop shadow makes it look like the dinosaur is standing in front of a picture of a hill...
An easy way to make a shadow for a creature INSIDE a picture is to duplicate the image you want to shadow, then choose the UNDER layer and darken it to black with lightness (under saturation and hue) then use DISTORT (center manipulation square top edge) and pull the black image into the photo and shape where you want the shadow. Once placed use a blur filter (I use Gaussian) and then use opacity to get the right look. Takes some practice, and pay attention where shadows fall in the image so you can get it to match right... Just one way of doing it... (IMHO of course).. good luck author
