There cant be any brown/grey : /
Author, I hate to repeat myself, but if you convert your image to CMYK and click off the blue (cyan) channel, you'll see a dramatic difference.
agree with Becca and CMYK46
so I misunderstood the theme.
So fix it!
)) wow MossyB you scared me!
This is really cool, you should fix it. I hope you know you can edit your entry up until Friday, from My Stuff My contest entries. CMYK told you what to do, and Mossy ordered you, so just do it man. If you don't it'll be removed when contest is closing.
Not sure if you fixed it but it looks pretty on theme to me now ... fascinating work!
Amazing work author...instant fav from me...well done

Thanks to Catalin2 at SXC for the Sweater Guy, and Sam Bloomfield at SXC for the Whitehaven Beach pictures! (5 years and 3319 days ago)
Try to make some depht inside the skull - burn/ dodge.
Thanks, greymval, I knew it needed "something," but couldn't put my finger on it.
i think adding a ridge along where the face was "removed" would help add to the dimension of the piece. right now, it looks like his face was paper thin.
some softening back on the horizon line would help blend it together as well, maybe use a soft edged eraser set at a 15% opacity just to soften the edge a bit and show some of his sweater through the tree line.
and otherwise, i like it. original concept...the title is suiting. You might think about softening your sunrays back there so they aren't so bold. but thats just a suggestion.
Good Luck
It looks real cool.... I like your idea... good luck.
Triiipy!!!! GL!

Author, I like your concept, but somehow it needs another dimension. Pasting a bird pic onto a background is hardly surrealism, but it is a dramatic visual statement. Take it a step further.
I dont know what it is about this one, but it sent chills down my spine, i love it!!!
Did you try to make that motion blur, like it's taking off? Back then, when they were making photos looking like this 18-19 hundreds you had to stay still for half an hour or so
It's a dead bird...he would have no trouble staying still.
Like the statement this makes.
