Thanks for your comments and suggestions, much appreciated! Positioning the sailboat was the biggest question on top of the wave or sliding down. I chose the area of bubbles as being the most dramatic and I kept it small trying to capture the enormity of the water. Again, I really do appreciated the feedback and input.

Argh... make it die, burn it, burn it. Sorry, nice manipulation, it just scares the hell out of me. I'd perhaps suggest adding a few smaller bubbles in there dotted around the place, only without faces. Maybe it sounds odd but to me that would hint at the idea that the whole scary face thing only develops as the bubbles 'grow'.

very metallic look than bubble, suggest lower opacity, add some highlight/glare to bubble
background image should be same as bubble reflection/refraction of palm trees?

otherwise, change title to maybe "trapped souls"....
