i think you used a too soft brush while masking out the scissors. the edges are now too transparent. try pen tool. pen is your friend!

Author, you need source links for the images. Also, you have multiple light sources, the stump is lit from the left, the buddha from the right and the background from above. Flip the buddha so he matches the stump, and then work with burn and dodge on the rest of the image.
Edit: Looks much better now.
Thanks Paulus, I've changed (or better I've tried to change it). The stump and the background are from the same source, you can see this in the SBS. I took two of my own photos, both are given to the SBS. One is from a buddha and one of the forrest. Thanks for help
usage of source is very little.
Even with your SBS I can't see the source used...and where are your source links?
