The image is very dark, hard to distinguish what's going on. Images often get darker when posted I suggest you lighten it up a bit to compensate.

I came across the image of the girl and her mother and wanted to create an image using it. I wanted to put flames in the girls eyes to show that she too was looking at a burning city. Her eyes were really dark and I wasn't sure how accurate it would be. Any suggestions are welcome. Th image of the city and bridge are mine. It's a beautiful concept, of protection, motherhood... but I agree with Spaceranger; if you play with curves, for exemple, you will get a great image here.

I tried to brighten hopefully it doesn't look to grainy. Thanks for the suggestions.

the bridge indeed looks a bit grainy ..
mayby you could set some kind of filte rover the whole image so it looks like you did it on purpose
