Call of the Loon - created by artgirl1935
The falcon sculpture immediately reminded me of the pattern in the loon's feathers. I used one of my own paintings which I did in the Adirondacks for a reference (this is in my SBS). Very very nice work author...just 2 nit picks...that thing on nearest duck neck is very distracting...and transition between body and the neck should be softer...any case this is fantastic work...high marks from me

Thanks for the comments everyone. I did revise the neck, although I had tried to keep patterns of the source as apparent as possible, but still make a pleasing image.
