Ditto on the glow.. or at least include it in the reflection??
ACK.. I added the glow to the reflection and I got that big glowing splooge on the tail.. not to mention around the feet.. argh.. something happened in the saving process.. going to go fix it as soon as the pds saves
EDIT: That was weird, Okay guys, met you half way with a half glow (Without the glow it looks very floating in the back of the piece, I love the glow on the reflection.. thanks! annimax, I should have seen that my self, guess that's why you two eagle eyes are around hehehe
good

Certainly original . In fact I like the anteater in step 4 better, because of the not so heavy shading. In that step it does need some more shading, but I'd reduce the brun and add more shadow to accentuate for example the distance between the legs with a body inbetween (I mean, that the furthers paws should have some extra shading because of a body that might produce a shadow, also to accentuate the shapes). I'm not even sure if I get it, but ok . Good luck!
I applause you for thinking outside the box...! Maybe a little bit more work on getting a more realistic shape and a better shadow! And try removing the outer glow as already suggested! Best of luck!
I used the glow to disperse the horizon line .. when I remove the glow the piece goes even more flat.. I dont' want to submit a whole different piece this late in the contest so I'm just going to leave it.. but thank you all for your wonderful comments.. they really do help me to make my work much better and that means a LOT!
Why the glow. I think it would be good with out it.GL
Howdie stranger!
