the edge of the lid on the right seems a little too large for the chest compared to the left side and the locket is not in the middle, you did a good job on the mood and the idea is great too. somethign different

As a newbie how do I know if a image has already been manipulated?
Good question author. Many times it's obvious, but not always. All I can say is try to develop a sharp eye. Sometimes the author of an image will say it's been manipulated in the description. GL on your entry.
