Just one question: why does the flower have a shadow? Is it a kind of sculpture? But for a sculpture it has spaces among the chips. I like the effect you gave to the background, now it seems like painted wood.
I wanted something simplistic, like it was made from a child, but not quite.

I wanted a surreal effect for the flower. Maybe I will consider giving it a support (yes the flower is in front of the wall that's why the shadow).

I came across the image of the girl and her mother and wanted to create an image using it. I wanted to put flames in the girls eyes to show that she too was looking at a burning city. Her eyes were really dark and I wasn't sure how accurate it would be. Any suggestions are welcome. Th image of the city and bridge are mine. The following images are credited to stock found on Deviant Art. (5 years and 3273 days ago)
The image is very dark, hard to distinguish what's going on. Images often get darker when posted I suggest you lighten it up a bit to compensate.
It's a beautiful concept, of protection, motherhood... but I agree with Spaceranger; if you play with curves, for exemple, you will get a great image here.
I tried to brighten hopefully it doesn't look to grainy. Thanks for the suggestions.
Nice source find - heartbreakin'.
the bridge indeed looks a bit grainy ..
mayby you could set some kind of filte rover the whole image so it looks like you did it on purpose
GL !
Lovely concept. Has a sadness to it that fits well with the theme.

The photos I used for this manipulation all come from sxc.hu. I also used brushes from Photoshop to make clouds and light. (5 years and 3277 days ago)

Nightmares are always so much more memorable than the pleasant dreams. Oddly enough my nightmares always lack common sense and I often find myself walking into a bad situations.
Thank you to mconnors at Morguefile for the zipper,
JherDan at Deviantart for the Freddy Glove,
The girl in the blue dress is by fallnstock at Deviantart.
The background image and evil eye are mine.

Nice work author, but in my opinion, you could have made this with any other door frame.
I don't find a lot of the original source in this work.
Maybe if you deliver an SBS?
It is beautiful and I'm prone to agree with what ramsesje above has pointed out. But there are other entries here with the same issue.
