So this is my piece, I had to redo it because the pictures were all copyrighted. My bad : / (5 years and 3701 days ago)
I got the image of a spring and selected it using the pen tool.
I put it over the flamingo in the source image after I made it bigger. I used the ctrl+Shift+I+ Del method to cut the flamingo into the spring shape. I played with the blending modes and opacities to get the spring to look more like the initial flamingo. I masked a lot using layer's masks.
Added leaves all around the image and sky in the backround. I added some gradient adjustment layers, brightness and contrast and shadows using different tones of grey.
Added some light beams and cropped the image for composition purposes.

I tried to show that the grandparent's time is past, while the parent's time is present. The child, who is the future, is in the forefront. It's in an oil painting format because that was the medium of choice for the grandma's generation, showing that the influence of the past still affects the present and the future. wow author..this is a totally new piece and you've jumped forward ten time in finish work.. congrats on the improvement.. I'm very impressed.. good luck!!
(You may want to red flag the entry you want to get rid of.. the mods will delete one of the entries if they feel they are too similar, and if you don't red flag it yourself, it will be up to their discretion)
as a grant parent she is living her present, as a mother the lady in the middle also living her present............my point is this is showing only present

Okay Photoshop Gurus and fellow authors.. answer me this.. why would this image not save in JPEG form directly. It kept saying " invalid jpeg marker is found"
My SBS saved fine..
I finally saved it as a flatten TIFF then converted it back into a Jpeg and it finally worked...
Was working on another blue project and I tripped into this (the circles wouldn't go with what I was currently working on and I got distracted) all PS (5 years and 3905 days ago)

Good idea, but heads 1 and 3 are distorted...
The picture was like that in the first place and 3 isnt distorted?
Compare to your source pics...they are distorted...when scaling pics always hit he Shift key.
