good idea -- the shape of the slice on the plate would not be the shape you are showing -- it should slope down from the forward edge -- using one of the transforming tools in photo shop or what ever you are using will correct this perspetive issue
yeah I was havin a hard time making it look right, but that seems to help a lot thanks for the input

This was a dream I had, a Giant Chocolate Duck in a Chocolate lake with 5 little birds in an orange sunset sky. If anyone can explain this dream to me, please do. :) May I add that there is a lot of detail to see so please view highres image. (5 years and 2866 days ago)
Nice image. Considering the light, the shadow could be darker & more detailed.
Your dream just meant you didn't get enough chocolate duckies for Easter when you were a kid, and you probably went to bed hungry that night. 
Thnx much about the suggestions, I have pondered about the shadow and tried as you suggest but I like it better this way, about the dream, you must be right, I usualy would get chocolate eggs and bunnies when I was a child, any chance you can explain the 5 birds?
