Hello everyone,
Here is my entry for this section - Cityscape Matte Painting!
Special thanks to www.photos8.com.

After the Great Sorrow, scientists devised protective Dome Encasements for many metropolitan areas. These extended well underground, and were totally self-sustaining, with nuclear fusion reactors and water capture and recycle reservoirs. When the planet core fractured, these "potted populations" found themselves adrift in space, hoping to find a new home... (5 years and 3261 days ago)
I like this entry a lot author...nice imagination. I have one small suggestion that might make a big difference. Perhaps try and lighten the right side of each 'city' and slightly darken the left. This will further help validate that bright light source on the right that creates a highlight on each sphere.
Looks good, especially the bubbles. I'm gonna try out that technique!

buildings are great,reflection too..but i don't know for the sky...i would wait with voting,maybe u change that
I think this is fantastic. I think the sky is a bit to blurry. Although the water doesnt look like water, the sky dont look like a sky and the pathetic footpath looks like a dotted line, it still looks great imo :S
It's a fantasy - and in a fantasy everything is allowed! Nice...
Looks unfinished
pretty good ide
Good use of source colors. It does look like it's missing something, to the right perhaps, maybe annother boat.
It's trance-like! really nice.

The building on the LH side has a decided off-kilter lean to it, and the frontmost building on the right tilts strangely into the water (perspective is inconsistent with the rest of the buildings - the parallel lines are off).
Also, your lighting is too narrow scoped, with a spotlight effect - the buildings on the right have shadows on the opposite side of the buildings on the left. The sun is far enough from our planet, (assuming that's where this is located), that the light is far more encompassing, and shadows are consistently on the same side in a scene such as this...
This is really well done. Too bad there is no high res to view. MossyB makes a point about that building on the left. Perhaps skew it to the left a bit...and you're done! Nice job!

EDIT: Looks
@ MossyB & pixelkid thank you for posting your suggestion.

Once again thank you my friends!
