The railings look like they're dissolving, without any cloud overlap. And full moons don't happen at mid day, but oh well, right? 
true...no full moons at mid day but then again, houses aren't really in clouds either are they?
Nice but you may want to soften the edges of the castle since the quality of it is a bit more blurred. Good luck!

Your choice of colors and the way you faded the architecture into the clouds really does make this look like a cloud city. Now all I need are vectors to the IAP for a TACAN Penetration.

Nestled in a huge valley at the top of their world an ancient city floats among the clouds. The technology for the floating city is long lost to the inhabitants who now dwell in this fortress city in the sky living in a medieval society and relying on the wonders left to them by their ancestors they harness the giant eagles for travel and to defend their homes.

800 votes that's a good amount, the 600 views: a lot of ppl just watch and do not vote, or you have been on the front page for a long time, but what do you mean with the 200 blind votes?
Suggesting there has been some cheating going on?
I suggest you read up the votingsystem and how mods work. Looking at the other entries I think you have nothing to complain, some where better and others where not as good, you got a far ranking / rating IMHO.
Author, there is no such thing as blind votes. This is where the vote power comes in. Sometimes you can have 50 votes and only 1 view, this can happen if the members has 5000 vote power.

I love what you've done with this. There is a simplicity and clarity that I think works very well for this entry.
I understand the purpose of the eagle, however, in my opinion, I don't think it's needed and that it detracts from the main elements.

reminds me a little of the movie 'Up' . I like your clarity and simplicity . the eagle makes a nice extra focus point to help the rule of thirds & balance the composition i think. well done & good luck
