Why the background has some kind of "lack of quality"?

The background is to portray emptiness, the image is about death.

if death is wearing a thong and a string bikini top... I know a lot of guys who will be thrilled LOL

Very well done! I like the sharper shadowing of the girl in white, it makes her more dominant and pushes back the image of death. The background texture gives interest to the "emptiness". @ Slushie...yeah I'm "dying" to meet her too!

The underside of the birdhouse throws the perspective out of whack. I'd remove it and bring the post up a bit more.

The white outline is distracting, though. If you mean it to be rim lighting, I suggest you blur or feather it more, so the edges are not so hard.
