Horribly creepy, I like it! For a better framing of the image, you could add some space at the bottom, under the hand, and maybe on the right side too, just to avoid cutting the dress.

Not so sure Z. I tried it out here and she doesn't seem to stand out as much. What do you think? I am open to either way.

Is she is eating it or it is supposed to be part of her face?

They're supposed to be tentacles shooting out of her mouth like she is some kind of monster. I didn't know how to make tentacles shooting out of someone's mouth, so I used an octopus. Maybe earthworms or something would have been better, but I did my best.

Check out the SBS to see how this was made. All source. Butterfly's wings are made from the axe head, warped, with some color brushing. Butterfly's body is totally made from wooden axe handle with some brushing. Background is the source image, which was blurred, and some Bokeh painted in. Made the bush from the source's grass. Wonderful work, it's very pretty... I want one to add to my collection. Great sbs, I didn't know there was a limit... but then this is the first sbs I've seen with 50 steps.

TY MM... or should I say "Madame Butterfly"? The SBS was 56 steps. When I tried to upload the 51st, it said something about the limit being reached. I still had a few more steps on how the fence post was made, but those weren't really necessary, so I condensed it to 50 steps. I wanted to show how the axe/post was "rounded off" on the edges. If you look at the top of the post it looks flat, but the sides look sort of rounded is what I am talking about.

It's pretty bad right now.. I'm about Maybe 25 are 30 miles from the eye.. We've been getting 100 mile an hour plus winds for. 8 hours now and it won't let up. For another 8 or 10 hours. Electric is off. but cell phone service still works.

Yea MM, I am fine. I have been through devastating hurricanes before. This one was a doozy, but I have seen much worse. I have some video I uploaded and will post it after the contest is over since my YouTube account name might give away my identity. Thanks for your concern.

And yea it was a fun chop. Rarely do I envision a chop and it comes out perfectly as I imagined. Well, this one did. Wasn't sure I could do it, but perseverance paid off.
