Gotta make Amarillo by tomorrow morning. Need to ride broncos for bananas. (5 years and 2503 days ago)
I haven't practiced much bringing things to life, so I thought this would be a good opportunity. Edited to make woman a little less blotchy. (5 years and 2758 days ago)
The girls look like they were plasticized o.o
They WERE plastic, and behind a glass window too! I'd love any hints on how to make them more realistic because I did the best I could.

In a good way, I got confused looking at the image. In other words, it's really surreal...
Awesome!, shows a lot of experience with pictures.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible,With Liberty and Justice for all. (5 years and 3015 days ago)
Soldier image is not proper selected, white border are visible and hand is not proper cropped.
Try to remove the white artifacts (Filter/noise/dust & scratches and/or Clone tool). Rather than selecting with the magic wand tool, use the pen tool or lasso tool to get clean edges. Also, you need to post the uncut original photo in a step-by-step guide.
I'm guessing the first commenter is referring to the cut off elbow, which could be fixed by cropping the image at right & eliminating the dead space.
The edges of the figure are a lot better. The area inside the arm against the flag still has white edges, and there are still a lot of white artifacts all over in hi-res.
You should try to color correct the soldier's skin tones - they are too warm and yellow for the rest of the image.
Additionally, the lower part of the uniform is noticeably lighter than the rest of him. Making a selection of his uniform, and going to Image>Adjustments>Selective Color>Whites, and increasing the Black slider should help that.
IM seeing some good improvements here author.. keep it up !
I strongly salute the soldier as any other that fights for their country and the right thing. The critique stated here has nothing against the soldier but rather the put together of this image. They are only trying to help you improve areas that might not have had as much attn to details as it should. Again there is nothing against the brave soldier, just some areas that need improvement on the "total image". Don't get so defensive. Try to embrace free help from great talent. I like the idea of what you have done and composition with the pledge but please consider their ideas.
face is green, white edges of costume, flat.
Thanks for the comment Gransbergis
