In Utah, Birds have the right of way on all highways.

Before anybody gives me greif on the lacking shadows, keep in mind that there's a giant cliff to the left and blocking out all the sun. Do you see any shadows on the highway markers? I burned the conflicting light sources on the birds the best I could. Humor is the key here.

avatar spaceranger

Well... the cliff doesn't block out ALL the sun everything is in sunlight. Look at the base of the grass to the left, look at the guard rail on the right...shadows.

author [banned] says:

I had minutes to beat the deadline. Give me a break!

author [banned] says:

Happy? I just barely made it. Chopping under pressure is tough.

author [banned] says:

Some mod said I have to show the page where I found the images. I guess it makes sense, to prove they are copy-right free. In case anyone is curious, yes I use the high res version every chance I get.

http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=view&id=438886 http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=view&id=71828 http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=view&id=1253853 http://www.sxc.hu/browse.phtml?f=view&id=1119765 http://www.flickr.com/photos/lance_mountain/2549553085/

And I just realized that flickr lists the copy-rights in high res and sxc.hu does not....

I'll shut up now....

avatar spaceranger

Glad you were able to change it, I like it better now!

dollmommy says:

I probably would have blurred the shadows on the road some as the edges are a bit harsh. But otherwise very cute interpretation of this law. Good Luck

author [banned] says:

I honestly just barely made the dead line or I would have, also made sure the Peacock was not transparent? No one saw that did they? Only noticeable in high res, really but by the time I realized it, it was too late.

slain4ever [banned] says:

i don't like the part of the elephant under the water, there is no distortion of it and witht he water being so dirty i doubt you would be able to see through the water anyway

avatar woodztockr

I like the idea... but something about the lower body is distracting and probably should be taken out.. g/l

author says:

I did readjust what you see is a big rock closer to shore and a light refection on top of water thanks

Nice idea and good source choice, the step 3 of the SBS looks better for me, the final image is too bluish

I think the color cast is a matter of preference...either version could work for me...this one seems like early morning, the other mid-day. Good blend, author!

Nice. There's something grayish half transparent on the right edge under the bridge. Good luck.

Thanks for your keen eye Palaekman. Looks like a part of the original bridge that I didnt mask off right.
