So you blew up a ball park...it's not exactly the end of the world, ya know?
(It wasn't even done that well).
It's a joke, I guess you don't get it. Also if you don't like it please vote it low, but don't make negative comments that are not helpful. Guess you missed breakfast and are a little grumpy.
I'm just learning and trying my best to improve my skills. I worked at least 8 hours on this picture and I appreciate helpful advice, but "It wasn't even done that well" falls into the mean category.
The contest theme is "The End of the World"...my comment actually was helpful. The theme isn't "Blow up a ball park". And we're all trying to improve our skills, but we're trying to do it on theme. You have plenty of time to revise & resubmit. You might also want to come up with a title for your image.
Fair enough about the title. I can't figure out how to change it, I cannot find anywhere in "my submissions" where it can be changed. If you know how please let me know.
As far as the theme put "Chicago Cubs Doomsday" in Google" the first 2 results explain it. The second result "Cubs Win World Series, Fulfil 2012 Doomsday Prophecy [Watch]" has a very funny video about the world ending should the Cubs win. All Cubs fans and most American Baseball fans are familiar with the hapless Cubs and it's a big joke that if they ever win the World Series the world will end. The movie Back to the Future and a few other movies also allude to it. I realize that Pxleyes is international, however your excellent theme idea was too good for me to pass up.
