Good source finds! They might stand out better against a different background. The black rocks against the blacks in the foreground figures is visually confusing.
I know is a rather odd sight, but I couldn't find any other background which would give me this "lifeless beach" feel. Thanks for the remark anyways!
Have no Idea, but this reminds me of the time I'd show up at work and everyone knew I had the only working SKU Module LOL hehehe great job 
What CMYK advised you is true. The rock located on the left side of the image, takes some view away from the hat of the skeleton. You could have erased it and cloning with the sky... a little blur would have helped better... good luck.
