Top notch work great use of textures and light
Thanks Alan.
Lovely work. Very well done.
A suggestion for improvement is to give the wooden floor the same perspective as the base of the globe. Two different perspectives make it look like the globe is not sitting correctly on the floor.
I lowered the snow ball a little and I changed the perspective to match the base of globe. I hope I did well. Thanks for comment.
Much better.
Just use perspective on the wooden planks and it will ground the whole thing. Right now you are getting a floating effect from the parallel lines. It looks more like a wooden fence and not a wooden floor. It's still a great chop. Good Luck.
On a side note, we used to get that type of snow globe at the Gift Gallery and they had a switch on them and they would activate themselves. I would hold them perfectly still in my hands, flip the switch on the bottom and they'd swirl like crazy. SOLD A TON OF THEM. hehehe
Thanks Ernest. I appreciate your advise.
The perspective of the table is still way off. Perspective isn't that difficult to learn, there are many tutorials you can find on line about perspective.
Here are a couple from youtube that are very basic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgeMDL-gXDQ
and this one about cylinders: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMRhuUQREMQ

Thanks Rein. I appreciate your help, saved links to check perspectives in youtube and pixabay.
