Voodoo? It seems something for a ritual...
well made...
Awesome chop. But, the drop shadow should be shifted downward a bit and to the left because the way you have the shadow under the head, the light source is coming from a higher position.........................
Nice job looks great I would work on the left side of his body abit (his right) it really blends with the background and makes the image look abit flat. Apart from that it looks great
well made entry...i like your different approach author...i would change only background,or better to sat maybe would be great if u made it a bit darker...and edges of the figure should be darker but just a bit...high marks from me...
Voodoo doll is a good idea, but agree about the shadows. Some areas are lots more blurred than the source, especially the design on its belly, and it's not moving. Also, the sbs doesn't say anything about the nose. Do the magical powers hold it onto a wall - there is no "pin", looks like it's hanging... ?
Incorporated suggestions...thanks, guys. (And Pearlie, yes, it's hanging on the background. The hanger's in back of course, where it should be). Re nose: small parts of a dark line in the image were bloated to form the nostrils, and the nose highlights were dodged in.
Ya that looks better it has more depth now. G/L

Used the intermediate result of my entry for the original Cubism contest (back in the photoshoptalent days) and made some small changes (mostly keeping the color in, and using a texture). (5 years and 3423 days ago)

Good construction. The needles look weird though. I think that they should be a lot brighter and you could try to reflect the doll in them

Thanks to Jacobo Cortés Ferreira for the leaking walls texture.
Thanks to CGTextures for the wooden floor.
Thanks to sofamonkez fpr the eye ball. (5 years and 3481 days ago)
Really nice atmosphere, and very good shading. High resolution is really excellent. The hand on the left is a tap "over-warped" near the edge which leads to a loss of resolution but the rest is excellent. Great way of thinking and very good image. Good luck!
Edit: Perfect!
Thanks Ponti, that arm was a bit weak so I made a new one. I think this one looks much better

whooooooo....explosion of colors....love the concept author...best of luck
I like how you made the construction of that structure, so that it looks 3d, but i don't really get what happens in your entry. You could explain in description what were you trying to achieve.
I'm so sorry greymval, I have no Idea what you mean.. I just make pictures that please me and take away my pain and worries.. and I happen to have lots
I have to make images that ACHIEVE Something 24/7 for clients non stop (books, magazine ads, wedding portraits, webpages ACK)..
Most of my own work just is, and always mine
Love the construction of the playground bars (?!) and colors. Sweet little doll coming out of frame, too.
What fun! What else can I say ... a happy-go-lucky image and I like that a lot!
I get it, good for you, author !
