It's so cute! Poor 'lil guy, look at his expression... I love it, very neat and tender work.
Standing about two feet at the shoulder and about 4 feet from beak to tip of tail, the house dragon is not a pet for the faint of heart. At hatching, they bond for life with their owners and, being both loyal and fearsomely protective, "outsiders" must be introduced slowly and with caution. Some breeds of house dragon are more amenable to training than others. The Suede Skinned Sally Meander is a good example. However, the breed shown here, the Tiger dragon, can behave quite independently of its owner's wishes. A strong will and consistent, firm training will be necessary for those who choose a Tiger dragon for a companion. (5 years and 3387 days ago)

Sweeeeeet!
Wonderful detail in the dragon skin -- bonus for the story
Beautiful work
There's going to be a dragon beating LOLOLOLOL
EDIT: LOL Author (you'd love the Menolly of Pern.. (Dragonsong, Dragonsinger, and Dragondrums) wonderful pet firelizards in those stories (she Had 9 "House Dragons" and Beauty (the gold firelizard queen) would wrap her tail around her neck and look like a necklace (you'd get some wondrous visuals from those stories.. especially when they describe them singing or when they blink into BETWEEN)
Very nice chop Author.
wow, this is awesome!
Good grief, Slushy! You don't beat house dragons! Didn't you notice the claws and beak? Its safer to just clean the mess up.
Amazing entry author, this dragon is one of the best and cutest i ever seen in my life...For my taste, this is the master piece, and i love the story behind the image...Once more, clap, clap from me....
edit:and before voting i know was u...
Lovely piece very well crafted!! Along with the story...wonderful creativity!
Beautiful work and a fabulous sbs... love the story too
Slushy, I've been a fan of Pern since 1978. I really like Lessa's story, Dragon Flight, but I think my favorite is Master Harper of Pern. Erathion, argggh, I don't want my style recognized. lol But I have a feeling that art is kind of like handwriting, unique to the individual. Hmmm, maybe if I used my left hand for photoshopping...
Excellent
Great work.Especially dragon looks splendid. And tip.If You just suggest some broken vase bottom and some transparency (maybe a fragment of flower stem inside),effect will be much better.Good luck.
just wonderful......this is perfect...!
nice work on dragon, but flowers look like paper cutting, not having dimension. Improve it
you are amzing ,good luck
Don't worry author, its not bad when someone recognize your style, that defined u as a unique artist...This is amazing work,i say that once one, love it so much...perfect 10 for u...well done

Absolutely beautifiul image...I'm just worried that the dragon source is unusable. You may have to double check but I thought that 3D/CGI stock was considered against the rules.
Thanks gamemastertips for your comment. Rules says as follow:
5.7. 3D Renders or Illustrations as Source:If you use 3D renders or illustration as sources, the same rules apply as for normal stock photos. (You're allowed to use copyrightfree illustrations or renders.) You need to mention the url where you got it from, and post permission from the original author (if requested by the author). However, none of these type of images can be used to be traced for in an entry nor can be used as reference. This, to be sure that the original creation will remain with the original author.
Okay, thanks author...you see, I used a 3D mountain once before and I was told renders are illegal...perhaps I misunderstood. I will then go on to say that this is BEAUTIFUL and I LOVE IT!!! Great work and good luck!!!
am sure u entry will be one of top 3

Nicely done. I just thing fire couldn't be so large when getting out the mouth (dragon would burn itself...) GL!
Looks good, except fangs could have been made from a smoother leaf.
erikuri l CMYK... i've fixed the burst n fang.. thx
Very cool, but I think the blown flame's edges should be wholly contained within the dragon's mouth -- and probably would be largely on the back side of the visible fang. I don't get the lower jaw which looks like it's 2D casting a shadow in the background. Eye glow would be more threatening if it were less flat looking. Outer edges of neck flare are a little bland.
danLundberg.. thx.. lower jaw, part of it behind the burst.. so its look like shadow.. the eyes.. u r right i ll fix it...
Brilliant creativity sweetheART fave

nice job -- good to see the sites stock being used
Love the way that her expression seems different from the original. I think it is the way you have her lite! Great imagery ... and the variety of the boxes contents is wonderful.
Thank you Alan and Arca for your comments.
