Pretty good except for the perspective on the right hand, and maybe the chicken head, too.
(Think about the lighting & shadows. You can make this way better).

author says:

Yes i can see it now, but i spend such a long time on this one. Maybe if i have some time i will try to improve it. Thx for the info

author says:

Nice work, the masking could be better around some of the oleaves on on the plant pot on the left hand side. Good luck though, a very nice mood.

Nice idea, but image looks low res and pixelated. Make sure you start with the highest resolution of the source image next time to avoid that. Good luck!

avatar CMYK46
CMYK46 says:

I agree...you have plenty of time to use the highest res source pic & resubmit...it's a good idea.

author says:

unskitty and CMYK46: I really appreciate the constructive and helpful comment. I am going to be gone and I don't know if I'll have the time. But, your suggestion did not fall in deaf ears . I'll keep it in mind for the future.

avatar gotmeamuse

nice job! i like this a lot. very creative.

avatar Lelaina
Lelaina says:

I have to ditto unkskitty and CMYK, but despite of the fact, that it is very pixelated, the idea is very good. That little door in front of the "castle" with the little gate is a very nice idea. Good luck

avatar elficho
elficho says:

i don't get it... the only thing you did was that yellow aura and add two letters to the name.. why so many layers? and so much work? this could be done with a simple brush stroke with some gaussian blur in under 2 minutes.

avatar GolemAura
GolemAura says:

While I can see what elficho means.. after reading your SBS this would make a WONDER tutorial on how the mask out giant objects.. You'd just have to add more steps and longer descriptions..after reading the SBS I can see the work you put into this very clearly and I commend you (like a said, this would make a great TUT for peeps wanting to know how to remove large detailed objects.. ) GOOD LUCK

author says:

elficheo - yes you are right but the effect wouldnt have the same clarity. GolemAura - thanks for your suggestion - The challange this time for me was to do the complex cutting out. Someone else manage what I was planning and I didnt want to appear to be copying ideas.

avatar CMYK46
CMYK46 says:

A lot of work for not much result...the glowing aura would be reflected in the water...

avatar k5683
k5683 says:

awesome idea but maybe you should have done a different color so it isn't so bright
