Thanks to Longstock and Senshistock. (5 years and 3112 days ago)
this is very enjoyable, if you could some how define the reclining female in the back more (burn and dodge) she doesn't stand out well enough for me.. but that could just be me.. very good idea and great concept (love the tree eyeballs ALOT) GOOD LUCK
Very original concept. Well done!
Thanks drivenslush, I see what you mean... I'll work it a bit more.
Thanks for the tip!!
Good except for light sources & shadows.
the motion-blur background makes the "mountain" edges look too sharp..
suggest feather the mountain selection then "delete" for better edges.
lighten the shadow-areas of the mountain alittle...
er, don't be angry if i suggest this... if possible, change background to a more natural sky other than the "motion-blur" thing
Thanks cmyk, changed the shadows. For me that is the most difficult part, shadows and light!!
I've used burn and dodge on the woman/mountain.
@Aheman: I'll never be angry for a suggestion. I've changed background for some clouds (image is mine, post it in SBS) and it really gets better. So thank you so much!!
Thanks MossyB!
good work gl author..!!
I love the colors and work of Art!

Fix it
@MossyB
Sorry was my mistake :) (5 years and 3116 days ago)
There's no reflection of the angel or the demon in the water on the floor...
@MossyB please see hi res and also see your monitor settings because it is a relection of the angel in water
There's nothing in your SBS, and the Hi-Res shows the window through a translucent portion of a stone statue. Since the angle is cool colored, the reflection would also be cool, not brown and not see-through.
Nothing showing any refraction or reflection of the light on the demon. The fuzzy glow you've added at the very bottom does not correspond with the window or the demon.
make it more "scary"... glowing red eyes, perhaps?
or maybe 'angelic' glow on the angel with cross?
reflection is too sharpen
A demon does not have a reflection imo, I see you changed the reflection of the Angel.
Might try blur it a bit. But it is your chop and good luck too you Author.
"A demon does not have a reflection, imo..."
It's vampires that supposedly don't have reflections...
And if that theorem holds true, then why would angels have a reflection? They're supposedly "ether and light..."
But since it is a "dream" should any of it have a reflection?
possibly yes and in a dream who knows? I just took the angel to be a statue as solid therefore reflection.
My dreams don't have time for reflections lol
@cabldawg71 and@MossyB please see final step of SBS
fine by me Author,

Color & grayscale together doesn't work. Try colorizing the source image.
cmyk46 is right, colorize the whole image for better effect
I disagree. I love the grayscale and color look. It gives the image a very dreamlike quality, as if the bride's presence is colorizing everything around her (think of the opening to the Gerard Butler version of "Phantom of the Opera". Only critique I see is that the top of the stained glass window doesn't quite match up with the source image. A little skewing/angling should fix it up easily, though. Great work, author!
I agree with CMYK about colorize and also what about fixing up the church also.
Dreamlike quality my ass. It's discordant, and color matching the church would harmonize the entry.
I tried to merge the color as the hope of the dream being realized, rather than with black and white as the dream going, but thanks for the advice!
Matching the pews to the church might be another way to go, rather than colorizing the church.
a sudden thought... maybe make pieces of the wall-church flying off... like dream broken up...
just a tot
thanks to all !
You know I came along kind of late to look at this picture but in my opinion you have done a nice job on it. The colors and or lack of them??? look fine to me.
I think the desat adds to the 'story' of the title - maybe could have done some desat on the front pews and bottom of the stained glass, but overall, a very creative idea and good chop.
Thank you, Pérola !

SPOOKY OOOOOOO
Really imaginative and cute!
The bats are a bit too dark and distracting, it makes a nice "evening" scene without them.
Well done!

Beautiful effect, but the text is too hard to read and distracting from the image.
nice work gl author..!!
this is fantastic author..love it
Very nice work, author. The type following the same curve as your penwork is a very retro element, and the floral elements and grunge effects, especially the dot pattern, brings me back to the 'old days' of printing.
Many thanks to all for the support
Congrats !
congrats...
