This is nice...but I think it would have been more appealing if you made their legs out of gumballs as well. Still...if you chose to do it this way (this is your creation, you do whatever you feel with it...) you should have worked more on the legs, thei appear to have different light sources and maybe not so patiently masked. Very cute description anyway! And you might want to consider high resolution for your future entries. It's always a plus!
