Pen drawing snapped with Adobe Capture, then colored up in PS. I can see this as a dropcap back in the day of re-telling the Old Testament. (5 years and 1306 days ago)
Might be a good place to start over... (5 years and 2628 days ago)
I really like the notion of finding Eden. I think the composition could be more dramatic, however. Reducing the brightness of the cool framing cave would focus more attention on the garden. The Rule of Thirds would suggest moving what are now the centered elements of the garden to the left. I would also move 'Eve' as far to the right as possible consistent with retaining appropriate modesty so the waterfall doesn't look like it's cascading onto her head.
Hey Dan, haven't seen an entry from you in about two years, but you're mighty free with the advice...
Good concept. Dan already gave some good suggestions, i can only add that it would have been nice when the constrast of 'Eve' was lowered, to merge more into the garden.
Congrats on 2nd. Place and Happy New Year!

The Generation Ship had taken 34 generations to make it to the New World. They had final arrived but what awaited them? Only time would tell. Space had been their home for so long, they had changed so much. Would they ever adapt.
Thank you to Marcus Ranum for the Mannequin stock. The rest is painted by me or created from my own photos. (5 years and 3265 days ago)

Nice one......
cool
I need one of those escape hatches lol......
very good, but the writing is on the wrong side of the door!!
adeincyprus... look where the door goes to... if it was closed it would be facing in ward toward EDEN. it's an escape hatch OUT of Eden.. (where Lilith and Cain went) The Land of NOD..hehehe
Texture of lettering doesn't match original, "Escape Hatch" needs to move up so the descender on the P is inside the rectangle, edges of left foreground object are choppy.
very nice...i like overall mood...maybe to blur lizard just a bit and to add some shadows
A little more shading to the bottom of the doorway (like you've done at the top) and shadow on the lizard would certainly help - looks a bit flat there now. Nice job
Thanks era and Ray.. gave the lizard a bit of depth and door shading
the mailbox looks a bit too 2d when positioned like this i'd just leave the way it was
Poor lizard! What a picturesque place it leaves
very nice

What's the source of the drawing? If it's yours it should be in the SBS.
