Source 6 is a render. The DA author says, "Here is a PNG Of some wildflowers/grass etc on transparent background that I rendered using Poser."
5.6. 3D Renders or Illustrations as Source:
Using other people's 3D renders or illustrations (even with permission and no matter in which form they are offered) creates a false impression of your artwork. So 3D renders or illustrations can not be used as sources, unless they are entirely created by yourself. Only acceptable non-illustration brushes and clip art may be used, but you need to mention them as a source too. Don't use an image that has been altered by the source owner nor an entire work created by someone else.
Well you rained on my parade. I will have to fix that.
Image updated with proper sources.
Very wispy I can feel the breeze
HAHA. Thanks mate.
Author, thank you for changing your entry to comply with the current rules as CMYK46 has suggested.
Source 7 is also based on a drawing but it is acceptable as a simple brush even so. I mention this in case members wondered if that type of brush is allowed.
Thanks moderator. I figured it was a simple brush and would be OK. Gotta learn how to make those myself.
Making a brush is pretty easy. There are many good tutorials available on line and on youtube, these are good and easy to understand:

Good fix author, and good luck.
Thanks for the heads up CMYK46. I always seem to make at least one mistake per entry haha. I added an SBS too.
Very cool idea. I like the dewdrop/translucent effect on the egg.
TY tinasedits. Check out the SBS to see how it was done. That part was pretty easy.
This is really good and I appreciate the talent.
TY wedoo2. It's more tenacity than talent. This was like the 5th or 6th w/e version with the see though egg in the basket. Tried one with it hanging from a hot-air balloon, one on a rock in a mysterious setting, one with a baby elephant, a baby human, one on a cliff with a waterfall, one on a rock in the middle of a lake, one inside of "open hands"... damn I lost track now. Yea, I got more time than money.
Finally I said "Try it on grass", then replied to myself "Why would a dinosaur egg be on the grass?" So I answered "Why would it be in a hot-air balloon? Why would a dinosaur egg be see-through?". The least likely idea seemed to work the best. HAHA.
Terrific work and a fabulous sbs
Fabulous? I like that.
Congratulations...
Mahalo George. I guess people liked that one.
Mau hoohiwahiwa iki hoahanau!

A description or Step By Step is required as stated in the rules shown below. For this entry all you need to do is write in your description box a simple explanation of how you created the effect. This will also help members who are new to Photoshop to learn how it's done.
Photoshop Guidelines 5.4. No External Source used in your Entry:
In this case, write in your description how your entry was made.
Keep in mind that if there's something not clear, the moderators might ask you to explain or post a step by step guide. This way we can keep the contests fair for everyone!
I only use the warp brush that's all ! A step-by-step description is unnecessary.
Author that's fine, you don't need an SBS. Just remember in the future, even if it's as simple as this, write it in the description box. I know it's basic but it can help beginners who haven't learned much yet.
That fat ripple crease on the tummy is unsettling but it really works.. great for the tension

The egg needs a little more work, and also some of the highlights here and there need more work. (5 years and 1485 days ago)
Question: why post your entry before the "stuff that needs work" is done? You have FIVE MORE DAYS to get it right... I'd also suggest making the dragon larger, since it's the purpose of the contest.
Because in my eyes it's just little retouching and I am not sure I am going to do it. I have to admit 15 days is a little bit short delay for me. And I say "it needs a little more work here and there" to let people know that I am aware it needs more work, so people wont post comments to point to those specific areas. But all comments are welcome anyway.
Having a flash back of the Mothra Egg from my child hood. Yowza.
That little white edge on the the lip of the crater is a slight distraction but the overall feel of chop has a very red feel to it. Sort of like a Sepia Effect only pounded into the orange/red spectrum.
While the egg is technically a baby dragon (in my book anyway) the contest is a DRAGON contest so that might be something to look into.
As time is a factor (and it would be a big change) you might want to think of having a crack in the egg with a claw popping out. Just a suggestion.
Good work overall, enjoyable vision.

when I was 7 my mother went to art collage. she brought home a huge text book which I would look through quite regularly. My favorite pic was Salvador Dali's Temptation of st Anthony. I would stare at it for ever and imagine I was there in the scene. (5 years and 2263 days ago)

Good job

Your source links don't work, you posted them in the wrong boxes. When posting sources place the URL (address) in the top box. The lower box marked "text" is for the description and/or credit for the source.
A very fun and unique take on the challenge. The grumpy expression is amusing.
