lookin' good
when I was 7 my mother went to art collage. she brought home a huge text book which I would look through quite regularly. My favorite pic was Salvador Dali's Temptation of st Anthony. I would stare at it for ever and imagine I was there in the scene. (5 years and 2170 days ago)

Would you rather lick a plastic ball or a tiny Elephant? (5 years and 2388 days ago)
The shadow of the elephant on the hand is of a color which doesn't fit (give the shadow a darker color of the hand and not gray! A shadow is lack of light on the reflecting object and not a black light projected on that object ).
Another thing which can be improved is that the elephant is way sharper then the hand which makes it stand out.
I do like the photo you used of your children though the expression on the face of the little one fits perfect. Besides that the elephant in the hand is a good find.
Thanks for the comments. Agree with the shadow, adjusted it. The Elephant is actually not drastically different in noise and blur as the hand, it just stands out more. Note the butterflies on the shirt, they look less blurred as well. Blurring that size element at 1 pixel can make a big difference.
I think the issue isn't sharpness it's the levels of darkness/shadow
No.....!!! Don't eat him! I wonder if elephants taste like peanuts? LOL. This is cute. Great idea.
Lol, they taste like chicken, but she's only sucking on him, no worries!

I have used two old photos that I have on the album of the memoirs. (5 years and 2523 days ago)
I would've liked to see a better source image that was more in focus. Although if you feathered the extraction point to match the blur of the source it would improve the overall image. Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestions but I have not been able to do better because they are old photos that I have cared with the scanner.

The hairy floating elephant is adorable. It looks like something that you might find in a childrens story book. Delightful.
Thank you Angel!
You be nice to EEYORE... elepant.. mutant... whatever... hehehe.. instant FAV!
You aren't the only one who said it resembles Eeyore...thanks!
Hahaha, that's so cute
Thanks Megan!
So lovely!
Thank you!
well, I have to agree with Drivenslush, the first thing I thought of was Eeyore> its the bow on the tail and the mane ... ADORABLE MUCH!!! a fav for sure.
Thanks Scrat...this one kinda evolved. I knew I wanted an elephant, then I saw the ocean image that worked so well, then the bubble blowing was a great sign of playfulness and movement. The balloons add some legitimacy to the floating and of course needed a fastener. The mane? Well, I added the bangs and it seemed lonely, lol.
Congrats Randy!!
Thanks Rein!
