I love your entry but it needs one more adjusting, the planet in source 8 is someone elses photoshop work and you cant use it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/imaginedreality/170835601/in/photostream
also wheres the uncut photo of the girl? the on in the steps already has it cut.

I do love this image, the colors and the composition, the subject. its just fantastic great work and yes please do see this in highres its definately worth it.

author says:

OH THANKS ELADINE!!! I didn't even notice that, I'll get on replacing that planet right away! Also, I'll have to dig up the original photo too, I didn't save it unedited in the file I worked on. I may have to go back to the raw file and redevelop one.

And thanks Nator I might mess around with that a bit

Eladine says:

I can just see this in poster format or in the postcard racks... you know those postcards with the special metalic printing? this would be so nice with that. beautiful work.

author says:

OH YES!! I know exactly what you mean about the metallic printing, that would be SO AWESOME!
Thanks again for your help! I ended up using the same moon picture used for the middle planets, to remake the one in the corner. I think it looks much better now anyway
Also I added the original pic to my SBS.

@ Nator, good suggestion, I made her a bit more "glowy" and added some more smoke and little glowing particles!

People should check out the hires before voting. It's really a treat at high res. Nice work as usual author!

author says:

Thanks pixelkid!! And yes I feel like this piece doesn't have the same impact in the smaller image as it does in hires

All I new when I started was that I wanted to do a profile of someone's head with a light bulb in it. This is where I ended up :) (5 years and 2962 days ago)

I think it would have looked better if the lamp would have been straight down from the "ceiling"

Nice work with the lighting effects.

author says:

Yeah I agree Eladine, I was actually trying to find a light that was hanging straight down, but then came across this source and really liked the texture and everything so I decided to go with it

avatar dlanswayne

author says:

Thanks I certainly appreciate hearing that!

Nice image but the background is not a usable source.

sorry friends i hv 2 change my background

avatar Ihsekar
Ihsekar says:

The curve on the road seems inward, so that means that the force is inward... Ohh so the bowling pins are not scattering but are assembling, then why is it called an explosion...

author says:

@ ihsekar
thats why its called angular

author says:

@ ihsekar
she's absorbing natural energy
so all things slowly comes to her

avatar Chalty669
Chalty669 says:

Interesting idea, I really like the force field. The only problem was that I really didn't notice it until I looked at your sbs. I'm not exactly sure why it gets lost in the image, the only thing I can think of is the smoke from her hands. Maybe if you made it into some type of electricity which also lit the globe? Regardless nice entry and good luck!
