I think this is awesome. I think the road is just fine BUT if you really feel you need to do something with it, maybe lessen the shadow on the sides so it doesn't look like the road is really thick/high.

"Jitterbug's" Jazz Festival - created by pearlie
July... hot and steamy in south Florida, and a great time to dance the night away under the swaying palm trees near the beach. I drew the triangles, added basic layer styles, drew the yellow sun bkgd. Before using the old photos in this chop, I retouched them.

Wonderful inclusion of self... looks authentic... (my best friends Dad used to be the bartender at the Fountain Bleu in South Beach) his House if filled with these types of posters.. SIGNED by the Musicians.. they keep a real close eye on me when I visit.. hehehe

Lots of opposite light sources,and total conflict between lights...Some shadows are ok,but some are wrong...Idea is very good,but with this sources don't look very convincing...good luck author
