My entry is called "Garuda Fireball" or literally means the "Eagle's Fireball".
I just used the image warp tool to create the spherical object, then the Liquify tool to create the abstract like eagle inside the ball. Then I made it into three layers, with the third layer being set to gaussian blur and red inner glow. The third layer was set to red color overlay.
As for the background, I just used motion blur and set a red color overlay blended into a linear burn effect.
Good Luck in finding the "Garuda" too! He's just hiding somewhere.. =)
And, Please tell me what you think and do VOTE if you like my concept and my work^^ Thank You... (5 years and 3385 days ago)
Great job with the fire ball.
...I found the Garuda but I don't see the piano. Or the fingers. Or anything that could possily be asscociated with the source picture.
wow, I found the "Garuda", rhinos, and elephants. hehehe. continue to learn with that filter. because it is so amazing.
NIce abstraction. But IMO, I think that in case of a CBR, a sbs would help a lot the voters (well, I suppose everybody wants to see how you used the source image.)
It is a nice image and I do like the background treatment but as gamemastertips points out the image isn't really source dependent. A similar image could of been created from any number of sources. I've always felt that the point of a source contest was to create something unique to that source. Abstracts are nice but I'm more impressed with the clever use of a contest source where you can see the elements of the original image.
BTW you do need to post a step by step, it's required when no outside sources are used.
(see rules and guidelines 5.4)
Thanks a lot for the tips, comments, and compliments.. Will do my best to improve my designs =)
As for the step-by-step, sure.. i'll try to do that too... ^^
