Nice idea but I think you have to include another frame. The table looks like it's floating anyways.
Do this: put a frame around the table and fishbowl and since this is a surreal type of contest anyways, why not just put a "cloudy sky" layer in the background. Then the table wouldn't matter if it was floating. Just a suggestion. GL!
i dont think there needs to be another frame in it jaw, aslong the images are connected to eachother, look at he sample they gave
i agree with jaws
i think the picture will really look better with a different background
and you indeed don't have to add a second frame but i think i'd be nicer
in case you ain't gonna follow this advise you may as well distort the painting frame so it is in proportion with te wall
GL
The fishbowl is at a weird perspective angle compared to the rest of the image, the table, the boy, etc. It looks like is it tilted up towards the viewer.
ok changed the fishbowl it indeed looked weird thx for he comment
Fantastic concept author...best of luck

Very nice! gl
nice color n mood, gud luck author
Very nice work author, great colors and fabulous mood.Only thing that bothers me,picture of the lake looks like pre manipulated image...I am not 100% sure but colors of the image, mist and some other details look like some other already worked on original photo...any how i like your entry very much and wish u best of luck...
nice
Well, it's quite difficult nowadays to affirm which photo is natural or premanipulated. And sometimes we can see really unbeliaveble colors in the sky with our own eyes... I hope this shot is ok (author, be aware that premanipulated images are not allowed, ok?) Otherwise, it's a beautiful blending of images. GL!...
Great atmosphere and fantastic colours the only thing that is bothering me is the lighting on the fisherman i think if you flip him it will work better..... going by the tree shadows in the water
Water wheels don't sit in a lake, they are moved by running water.
I understand your concerns about the image but it was used in good faith. The photographer doesn't mention whether the image has been manipulated so I presume it's just a great shot.
Love the mood of this. A great piece of art. I can see it blown up and hung in someone's den!

thanks all for the source files. (5 years and 3437 days ago)
lighting clashes between the skeleton, tower and sand. The shadow the fish is casting is also incorrect. I'm not too sure what that spike is beneath the fish either... you should upload a high res version so it can be seen better.
its surealism ponti , the fish is not casting any shadow, the grain and the overall color composition for me is the title "nightmare fishing" , i apreciate your comment.
i love surealism images some of my favourites are ones with shadows, they just dont match the object they come from ;p maybe give that a go too...
Surrealistic or not, lighting is a basic principle in all images... it may never be 100% right but something as simple as flipping the tower would improve your image. If you'd like to go into more depth then i also suggest trying to make the strong dark shadow from the original source much softer and brighter to fit in with the surroundings. (look at how soft the shadows on the sand are)
um, not bad
cool idea....gl

The light on the source pic is from upper right...the light on the child & boat is from upper left.
Thanks CMYK...I think I resolved the issue...at least on the kid. I appreciate the advice
