Author... if you ever get to see this movie..(an award winner on so many levels) you should feel proud they would hire you in a second... this piece is O'Keefe wrapped in an enigma...

(the use of a green fairy to counter balance the super feminine red is very advanced .. mainly because you prevented it from looking like Xmas and Instead you remind the viewer of alexandrite (the stone of Czar that turns green and red depending on the light)

this is cute, but you have not altered the light source, it need a bit of shading somewhere.

How ugly this would look attached to a face! But it looks great - super job author - I think the fairy should stay, although a different colour / angle would help.

Triplets of Belleville has very little dialogue in fact I think there are a total of about 4 to 5 lines in total... except when the Sisters sing

Swinging Belleville rendevouz/ Marathon dancing, doop-de-doo/ Voodoo, can-can, balais, taboo/ in Belleville swinging rendevouz...

The movie is about Champion.. whose kidnapped by the mob of Bellevile to race the Tour da France inside a machine .. Grandma of Champion goes on an adventure with Champion's dog (a fat basset hound) on mission to save Champion and meets the Triplets of Belleville who use hand grenades to harvest frogs to eat.. and make puddings out of frogs eggs.. whoops.. said to much...(it really doesn't need any English version... (Belleville is patterned after a Huge Metropolis) ... oh yeah.. Grandma give Massages to Champion with a lawn mower.. .. it's a lot of fun

I agree with loopyluv but I would also suggest you change the resolution of the fairy to make it better match the flower. Perhaps a slight blur or if anyone else has a better idea they can pitch it. Please don’t get offended I made a suggestion, ok? I’m just trying to be helpful. Thanks.

author... this is absolutely brilliant... but just IMHO could you maybe soften the edge of the first bird ..or burn it a little... it's looking a little sharp (could be just my eyes.they aren't very good... I'm just thinking of the needed roundness) but still a very brilliant and engaging chop.. GOOD LUCK

This is a good start, you could start painting on more detail and using the doge and burn tools to create some depth, you have quite a while to change this, so i suggest you try playing around in photoshop.

Nice one. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the stick and the part inbetween the birds that are both red. If you'd give them another color (like green?), it would have more contrast with the birds and look less flat (as it is now, the stick and birds are one, including the flower's texture...makes it flat, imo). LOL - I want one, I want one! Agree with Wazowski - the perch would look better if it was a different colour to the birds, but a great idea and well executed!

Thank you all. Elficho, now that you mention it, I see the left overs but unfortunately I don't have time to do the cleanup now.

I would've removed the things sticking out of his chest, otherwise it's a fun image.

So cute Great job in building him! I especially like his legs and the flower really adds the special touch. Good choice to make that one out of the source instead of using a real one. It just fits better. Good luck!
