The work with the source image is lovely, but the brushes distract from the work you put in, seem like an after thought to fill in space.

I know a lot of people don't like brushes and I normally don't either. In this case tho, I planned my design around these specific brushes I wanted to use. I had them at home but not where i was doing this so i went to download them. I wasn't going for realistic, you could very well say the whole thing is "phoney" that is what i was going for. Totally abstract and etheral looking. If i wanted to "fill space" I would have used more of the pods. I wanted the focus to be on the flower and pod and use the rest of the space to enhance the focus of the piece. Thanks!

very slick image.. might want to refine the vase to match the perfection of the flowers.. but that is a total personal choice (the purple coil vine is just awesome.. it locks the arrangement together like a steel trap imho)
