This is really good..fantastic mood and lighting
sbs please
awesome lighting..btw wheres the house?
@ rakib 888, the author did not use the house but he used the pigeon only
@ author , Great work as usual !
people will comment as to the lack of bird house (and may have a point), but I don't care, this is a beautiful image so well done.
i love it ,it is very nice
well indeed raytedwell, i had pretty much comment on an entry for using hardly the source image, but the same is happening here...only the bird?
@lamantine i was joking about the bird house.
its awesome i've said that also
Only the bird from the source image?!? Really?
beautiful image
Peacefull ! Love it. Good luck author
Peacefull ! Love it, love the color contrast...Godd luck author !
It may be "only the pidgeon"; but it's an "only" well blended, well used. I love the colors for background, making the woman popping up. Mood is also wonderful, like every work that you do, Mr. Mood. The title is very appropriated too.
Sorry, not enough meaningful use of the source...that could easily be a bird from anywhere. Then the source wouldn't matter.
beautiful work, love the colouring and the different use of source image
wooooooooowwwwww !!!!!!!!
Extremely beautiful work. From the lighting to the composition it is a really wonderful creation. Truly worthy of praise!
Very beautiful scene author...best of luck

Thanks to Vangel_PL for the fly and demordian for the hands (Notified)
Mostly an exercise in getting the fly into the amber
Masking the amber and fly then several layers added with multiple and overlay blending modes and adjustment layers using brightness and contrast, Hands enlarged and the drop shadow added and masked for the amber (5 years and 3311 days ago)
Really nice blend, the fly looks embedded quite realistically.
The main focus of the image is really excellent.. A very realistic outcome. I agree with you author that the background should be changed, but again, the fly in the amber looks fantastic.
good one =)
Very well done ... it truly looks as if it is lock inside the amber.
Have found a decent back will play with it over the next day or so thanks for the comments so far.
Great =)
Very intelligent choice of background! Good luck author
Great work on the hands. Super idea! Just adds to an already lovely image.
very nice work author...good luck
Great job embedding the fly! perfect use of this source.

Created from all my own images and a little bit of in PS painting. See SBS. (5 years and 3333 days ago)
This is such a beautiful image and makes me feel like I am up there with that bird. Bird could maybe use some motion blur so that it doesn't seem to be motionless. Your SBS is SOOOO outstanding. Would like to know what program you were using. My Adobe 6 doesn't seem to have all the options you described. High score!! GL
very soothing image................
very sweet work, good luck!
Artgirl ...I am working in CS5. What options doesn't 6 have? I used to work in PS6 and may be able to suggest alternate ways to do the same thing ... PM me if you want
Re Wing Blur - I know what you mean. I did try that when I was first working on the picture but it never looked quite right. I could perhaps blur the wings a bit? I did have the teardrop hanging more straight down originally but thought that having it flowing backwards helped to give the sense of motion.
Once again.., beautiful job
Very nice Author I like this alot
Fabulous work author...animated part in SBS is nice touch,,,good luck
Simple but amazing! Very good job author, i love the perspective and the colors overall!
I imagine the bird carrying our dreams in that bubble... Very beautiful image, and the colors are so nice!...
I was SO looking for a coconut in the bubble. My first thought was, "Is it an African swallow or a European swallow".
Back to the point, its painterly and VERY nice!
animated sbs is very good
very pretty, I like attention to detail on your mountains
Pingenvy ... I am pretty sure it is a North American Wood Swallow but I changed the colour to match the image better...it was originally; a great iridescent blue on the back and lower part of the wings, white belly and brown/gray everywhere else ... tee hee, sneaky me! Oh and sorrry about the coconut ... I will consider it if I do a revised edition someday
Very nice image.
Congratulations!
Thank you all so much for your comments and support ... I am certainly loving my new home! Many hugs to all!
Congrats
congrats
Arca, wonderful work!!! congratulations!!!

Um the term is "I believe I can fly" Your title doesn't make any sense with A's
I'd suggest removing the shadows, since the light source on the figures is from upper right.
Good idea, shadow perspective need to be reworked.
Very cute and funny, dog's image was well chosen!
i agree with CMYK

Good work...welcome to PXL!
What an entrance! Welcome and well done
Thanks guys.... appreciated
I want to add the SBS, can I do it after the entry is submitted...how should I edit the entry??? A bit confuse :P
My stuff > My contest entries, Edit entry
very nice work! Welcome to PXL!!! HOpe you have as much fun as I have!!!
Ya enjoying PXL
@Lamantine: thanks for the directions. I have submitted the SBS
Welcome to Pxleyes! Very nice and dramatic work for the first entry; I really like the mood and the colors you used here. GL!
very clever and nice work, love the mood. may be you can put more shadow on the left birds or make it less white . Good luck author
Great first entry! The blending is almost perfect, the low range or color works well on the mood and the idea is creative. Your style brings the fresh air to the competition and I see the potential in you work. I have few suggestions about the content of that image: since you want to show that she wants to fly, the spatial feel on the image is very important. All these birds are going to fly away or just flied not far from her. If you could add some other birds with different sizes, in different place of the DOF (depth of field), the topic will be emphasized more. Because she wears the dark clothes, it's better to make the brighter background. In your case, it's still okay because she's distinguishable, but if there are few bright clouds in front of her (background), this will be better.
One more thing maybe you've already known or not. The SBS is mandatory in the case of the source contest like this one, but in the theme contest without given source, the SBS is not mandatory, it's up to authors.
Wish you the best of luck with this entry, very well done, keep it up!
Thanks guys
@langstrum: Ya the extra birds idea is really good. The BG was brighter....but I reduced the brightness to make the ground look far above the valley. And I have submitted the SBS
Thanks for all suggestion and wishes I will try to update if possible.
Great entry author....U came with the bang...I like the mood of your creation...execution is also well made...best of luck and welcome to PXLeyes...
