This took pretty much all weekend. A LOT of hours, but the further I got into it the more I was liking it, so I just kept going and going! Finding new places that I thought there needed to be feathers and so on. It was a ton of fun to make, hope you all enjoy it :) (5 years and 3069 days ago)
ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh............woow.......... always wanted a "Parrosus", where can I get one?
Harry Potter will be red-eye when I ride a Parrosus
nice colors, great blending.... almost PERFECT!!! (only feel that it the mane, tail and wings were more flowing... like hair, but this is only my personal preference)
Stunning ... excellent work, wonderful creation! If I could I would fav it 2 or 3 times!
OH THANKS Glad you guys like it so much!
I do see where you are coming from aheman, but I really wanted to stick with the totally feather approach. Thanks for your input though, much appreciated
Beautiful creation, wonderful color!! Well worth the effort you put into it! The revise makes it even better!
Wonderfully thought out and done.. AWESOME!!!
Excellent image!
Wonderful colours,nice reflection,it's a fantastic creation !
nice nice
nice color combination!
this looks like a cool animal
)
NICE... WELL DONE but agreed with aheman. The flowing problems because there's a minor shadows in my opinion.
And this is just my input, Author: the Rim Lights should never be 100% white. Photographers will know about this, even if it's directly hit from the sun, there will be a little yellowish or even reddish for the rim lights.
Still, top notch blending, Author! High votes! Good Luck!
Beautiful composition, nice colors and wonderful creation.
Very nice work!!
Magnifique !
Thanks everyone!!!!
Hayato, thanks that was a good call, I updated the background so the light has more of an orangey glow, and is not so pristinely white.
Amazing!!!!

So sorry... but I just had to make me a little green guy!!! ;) (5 years and 3115 days ago)
I support the necessariness of a little green guy! And this is cute. I confess I don't understand the cross-shaped reflection thing at 9 o'clock on the flying saucer's body. Looking at the backside of the guy is kind of boring, however, but would be more interesting if we could see what he's heading toward--and then think about the Rule of Thirds in constructing the composition.
Don't know that rule, please tell me about it, I would love to hear.
Thank you
Cool little fellow, I like the motion and the perspective of him. Really looks like he's driving home.
Thank you very much
cool looking creature...gl author
Rule of Thirds http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds
BTW Photoshop CS5 has a Rule-of-Thirds cropping-grid-lines option.
I can't see any problem regarding my composition and that rule?!
But there are also other rules, in my language there is something called the golden ratio in relation to image compositing, I'm not quite sure it has the same name in English. It's about how the eye sees a picture, etc., among other things also that it is not optimal to place something directly in the center but improved slightly above or slightly below.
But as I said, there are also many other rules and not just the one you are writing about.
Besides, rules are made to be broken
Yes they are made to be broken. Good luck Author This little guy is hauling ass, he prolly breaking speed limits too.
Break the rules!
He's cute, love his 'headlights', I also like the blue light coming from the rim of your saucer.
Thank you
