THis is a nice clean, cleaver entry. There is room for improvement on the masking. Try using a smaller brush or use the pen tool to cut things out. Good luck!

Very interesting because you illustrated a literal idiom by incorporating a different figurative idiom, specifically, illustrating the abstract notion of thought as a 'light bulb moment.' I personally think a lit bulb would be a better depiction of a 'light bulb moment,' plus more than one bulb would better conform to the plural thoughts.

Link posted doesn't lead to hand used. Edges of hand should be softened. Light source of main image is from left, so hand shadow is wrong. Would be better to make SBS to show how hand texture was made (which isn't included in source links).

Thanks for pointing out wrong hand image - now rectified! Will look at shadow today. Hand image - used overlay. Am looking forsuitable SBS. Thanks for the help!

interesting idea but I do believe a bit more work could have been done on blending the shark to make it look like it belonged. A high res and sbs would have been helpful. Idea was sound but execution needed a bit of work!!
