Babies have beards & chest hair?
i think it's a little off-theme, sorry!
I think if a baby did have chest hair and a beard, he'd look just like this, I think it's absolutely adorable... good luck author.. reminds me of a sweet version of a Mapplethorpe
i don't think "adorable" is the word... but the beard is way too sharp compared to the skin
umm k pretty cool!
I think the left eye needs more work; there's like a skin bump to the side of his face but a good job overall
thats one uuuugly baby. But so far the only one that has stuck to the theme.
Well, ummmmmmm. OK! Different!
You might wanna try to play a bit with levels so the skin tone around his left eye, ear and lower lip matches with the rest of the face

i have now notified the stock owners that i've used their pieces as you can see in the final step of my SBS, i did the same thing for the 4th source too.
i like the feel of this.. very effective. Good luck!
very awesome!
Looks very nice, i think you should add some more saturation/vibrance tho
good idea!
Interesting image, but there should be steps on the ramp leading to the top of the pyramid...
neat
I loke how you used the source and how everything fits together; the foggy atmoshere is like the cherry on a cake
Congrats for your third place!

1.copied the tree thrice and then arranged it and merged
2.used free transform >wrap
3. used the stock image of hand and use it as mask
4.then added some details with brush and used layer style
5.then for background i added the texture (thanks to grunge textures by `Princess-of-Shadows) and overlay it on new layer with background colour (5 years and 3750 days ago)
Nice idea, but imo I think you can make the wood look more like parts of the hand. Right now the wood still looks quite much like it's a straight texture without a real interaction between the shape of a thumb or wrist and how the wood would look like. Try to look more for thé perfect wood parts to make a thumb or finger, show more that the hands are really wooden (for example by making the edges of the hands more rough or just use the tree's edges, would be the easiest) and warp a bit more around the wrists to get a more round effect. Good luck!
i like this image a lot it could use some shading though i love it a lot!

People who think that robots can't be romantic, most likely never saw the original Ancient Victorian SteamBots. You can call yourself very lucky now, because as we speak, we can be witness of one of these Bots - Pol-E Fon the music bot - showing his love by playing a serenade for his sweet Su-C.
Only 33 images (+ one own image) and some handdrawing used for this entry. No references used for the handdrawing. I tried to use as many mechanical or UK-alike image as possible. It wasn't always easy to combine well, but I think I managed. See for more details the SBS.
High Resolution is more than recommended.
Since there are more than 10 external images, I also put the links + owners in the description.
Many many thanks to the following owners from the following sources:

That image in the Worst Jobs competition about the Source Checker just got about 1000 times more realistic!!!! This is a masterpiece, and you're a genius.
oh wow!!!!!! fantastic, makes me wanna red flag mine out of embarassment lol.... im not even going through all those sources... leave this one for the mods hehehe goodluck, but im sure your a winner
Alright I could repeat myself now, but I won't... So let me just say: This is truly a masterpiece!
I love this, but I'm not sure if I'm seeing a small blimp a few feet above him, or a big one that should look further away...
A might fine piece of work indeed.......personally reminds me of this

This is GREAAAAT!! )
Amazing
Wow !! Great work
hate to be the person who has to check all these sources.. yikes.. but excellent result
great
just give the man the first price and do not worry about the sources...
So romantic... I love it. Well done
this image sure does have a bunch of sources doesnt it? you had to have spent a good while making the entry! and you couldnt have done a better job! this image is by far the best in the compotition
Just a thought....... You should submit your resume to Pixar immediately! Fabulous work!
fantastic!
Wow this is jsut amazing, you worked really ahrd on this one and the result couldn't be better.
ImagineFX Magazine has a contest going at the moment... cant find my damn mag grrr... anyway they have different sections. I think you can look it up on the net.. you should enter good prizes
I just had to come back to look at it again Soooo sweet! I it!
Thank you all very much for the nice comments and votes. Mod, sorry for the many source links . @CMYK: I know there are some probs with the perspective. The zeppelin was supposed to be just a few feet above Pol-E's head (it´s also almost as sharp as the rest on the foreground), but mainly because of the chain it looks now further away...but well, if you´re tired and desperately looking for a good source, then maybe it´s not easy to think logic anymor . @Olivia, thanks for the tip! I´ll check for it.
Ooooooh and again! Congrats!!!
Congrats!!
Congrats Waz, absolutely wonderful, so romantic, love it
